K: After our first night of camping with friends, Brandon and I set out for a hike on the Santa Elena trail. In my opinion, this is the most scenic trail in all of Big Bend. West Texas Weekend: Alpine
B: Alpine, Texas is one of those towns that you walk in about fifteen minutes. It didn't take Katherine and I long to discover what the small Texas town had to offer. B: Marfa is the most modernized rural town I have laid eyes upon. Venture capitalists from New York City took this town by storm several years back by pumping in vast quantities of money, infrastructure, and oodles of art. B: I first visited the Gage Hotel in the Spring of 2015 for a work sponsored course. The March timeframe brought about a chilly spell accompanied with continuous misty rain. Date Night: An Evening at the Ballet
B: For Katherines 25th birthday, I purchased season tickets to the San Antonio Ballet. The season started with the strong imagination of Don Quixote, leading into the classic tale of The Nutcracker, and ended in a dreamy romanticism of Sleeping Beauty.
