K: Santa Fe offers a variety of activities, but they are arguably most well-known for their food and art scene. Brandon and I were all over this and took a half-day to explore Canyon Road, the city's most well-known art area. Essentially, it is one long street with over one-hundred galleries. Charming turquoise doors, adobe buildings, and rustic benches captured our hearts and creative spirits. We loved our morning of exploration and actually ended up buying our first piece of real ... Thoughts On Our Road Trip
K: I didn't grow up taking many road trips. During my childhood, I was raised in Georgia, yet most of our family was still in Texas. Occasionally, we'd make that drive but it wasn't even a once a year thing and we ended up flying the majority of the time. Fast forward to when I met Brandon: he had big ideas about traveling the country and quickly pulled me into those plans. Of course, I couldn't resist! The other factor that occurred was that we realized we could go places a lot ... View the Post
Hotel Santa Fe: Our Stay
Our Stay At Hotel Santa Fe K: We returned from Santa Fe, New Mexico last Friday and had such a great trip! Brandon and I are excited to start sharing content and wanted to begin with Hotel Santa Fe because we were SO impressed with this resort style hotel. Honestly, I didn't really know what to anticipate because a friend told me to expect everything to be adobe. While the majority of structures fit this style, it was so unique and different to experience a city primarily made up of adobe ... View the Post
California Recap + VIDEO
This is the last set of California pictures but we're really excited to share our very first travel video today as well! We've recapped the trip in one video, highlighting our favorite moments and settings. These sunset pictures had to make it to the blog as well because it was just so beautiful to stand on the cliffs and overlook the setting sun together. We'd come from a very grey San Antonio with lots of fog and rain, so San Diego was such a refreshing change of pace with so much sunshine and ... View the Post
Pink Stripes + Travel Update
K: This top just screams summer to me and I'm so happy I got to wear it in San Diego as it fit the vibe perfectly. I'm a sucker for anything fitted at the waist and I love how this off the shoulder top deviates from a boxy fit by adding the tie detail to define the waist. The top is currently 40% off and I love how it's so easy to wear. Unfortunately, the top sold out just yesterday but I found an almost exact match right here in the same price range. Of course, when we saw this pink hotel in ... View the Post
Exploring La Jolla
K: As we mentioned in our Facebook Live video, a city is a city when you really get down to it and we've decided that we enjoy a smaller setting with charming shops and unique restaurants. Although we loved San Diego and had so much fun there, Brandon and I opted to spend a day in La Jolla to explore a smaller town with a prominent California coastal town vibe. La Jolla is just a twenty minute drive from San Diego and we got up early on Saturday to beat the infamous traffic that everyone kept ... View the Post
