K: Magnolia Plantation was easily my favorite part of our Charleston trip. We arrived to a winding road, shaded by massive oak trees and dripping Spanish moss. At the end of the drive was a surprisingly small plantation with gorgeous landscape surrounding it. Brandon and I took a tour of the historic home and walked the grounds, snapping pictures left and right. Although the day was sticky and hot, we were armed with iced tea in hand and excitement at the amazing history of the home. B: The ... View the Post
Walking the Streets of Charleston
K: Our trip to Charleston was nothing short of magical. I grew up in Georgia and consider myself to be well-versed in Southern customs so this trip felt a little like home to me in a lot of ways. Stepping into Charleston was like stepping back into time. Rich with history from the Civil War, it seemed as though each new street held secrets of the past and a dreamy ambiance that Brandon and I fell in love with. My favorite part of our evenings was getting lost in the winding streets, admiring the ... View the Post
Bell Sleeves and Birds in Charleston
K: We are back from charming Charleston and ready to share the first round of photos with you. While these pictures are not the "epitome" of Charleston that you're used to seeing (i.e. colorful Southern homes), we were happy to get a few on our way out of town at Colonial Lake, just for a change of scenery. We'll have the typical Charleston pictures coming out Friday and the rest of next week. B: Katherine brought this shirt home due to its tropical and colorful nature, thinking that it ... Dinner Date at Cinnamon Shore
K: We spent Easter weekend at the beach and had gorgeous weather the entire trip, as opposed to our last trip here. Brandon and I were adamant about getting reservations at a delicious bistro called Lisabella's in the community of Cinnamon Shore. This quaint little village has muted blue beach homes, all trimmed in white. The fresh feel coupled with the salty breeze in the air made this a perfect evening dinner and we were able to watch the sunset as we explored the neighborhood afterwards. It ... View the Post
4 Ways to Wear a Silk Scarf
K: I've been on a major silk scarf kick. It's amazing how such a small piece (at such a great price point) has the ability to be multi-purpose and elevate any outfit. I first wore this Loft silk scarf here when we went wine tasting in Fredericksburg. It's become a weekend staple for me to just throw one on with any casual Saturday outfit. Now, my exact silk scarf is 40% off with the code: GETHAPPY. There are so many great options to consider and I couldn't help but link some of my other ... View the Post
Graffiti in Austin, Texas
K: We are so excited to finally share these photos! Embarrassingly enough, Brandon and I had the idea for this post back in January and we just had the photoshoot a couple of weeks ago. This look is very "edgy" for the two of us and is completely atypical from our usual style; however, Brandon and I are always willing to try something new and I think that his leather jacket and my sheer floral dress are unique items that we both fell in love with. B: Katherine and I ventured to the infamous ... View the Post
