K: When Adore Me approached us about compiling an ideal "summer date" post, we were thrilled to put our spin on it. Living in Texas means hot summers with temperatures over 100 degrees as our daily norm. Brandon and I discovered that during the summer, we have to have water around us if we're outside, for both Tara and ourselves. It's very difficult for us to do any activity without someplace to cool off in. Luckily, we live very close to my parents and their beautiful pool. We expect ... View the Post
Dinner Date at Cinnamon Shore
K: We spent Easter weekend at the beach and had gorgeous weather the entire trip, as opposed to our last trip here. Brandon and I were adamant about getting reservations at a delicious bistro called Lisabella's in the community of Cinnamon Shore. This quaint little village has muted blue beach homes, all trimmed in white. The fresh feel coupled with the salty breeze in the air made this a perfect evening dinner and we were able to watch the sunset as we explored the neighborhood afterwards. It ... View the Post
Day Date in the Park
K: We hinted at a story in Wednesday's blog post (you can see it here) and we're excited to share with you how these amazing photos happened serendipitously. This charming city offers adorable bed and breakfast hotels, fabulous shopping, and true Texas wine from vineyards located just outside of the town. Brandon and I took a day trip from San Antonio and spent some time sampling the local wine flavors of Grape Creek Vineyard. B: Everyone has their own personal preferences when it comes to wine. I personally do not drink wine often, but when I do, ... View the Post

As a couple, we try to be as creative as we can and find something fun and unique to do every weekend. No matter what your ... View the Post
West Texas Weekend: Camping Date
B: Big Bend National Park is the fourteenth largest park in the United States, encompassing 801,163 acres. Driving through this geologic wonderland, we experienced stark elevation changes from flatland prairies to steep volcanic cliffs. The Chios Basin Campground is actually located in the center of an extinct volcano deep in the heart of the park. Hiking trails of all experience levels and distances branch outwards, making it the center of many park ... View the Post
