Pastel Colors & Wide Leg Pants

I fell in love with the print on this blouse immediately and the whimsical nature of its design. Do you ever have a moment like that where clothing just speaks to you? The design coupled with the pretty pastel colors makes for the perfect, lightweight summer top. It actually has a smocked waist too which makes it really easy to tuck into anything with a high waist.

In addition to pastel colors and whimsical prints, I’m still loving the wide leg pant trend. Mine are old but I found this budget friendly pair at Forever 21 for a steal! I also got two pairs from American Eagle (so surprising, I know). I think the wide leg/high waist shape is so flattering and makes anyone look taller and slimmer. Here are my favorites that I’ll be wearing all summer long:

We were in Midland this last weekend, finally getting a chance to see the house we put under contract! I’ll be sharing the Midland House Saga on Wednesday and a little more on what we’re planning with this older home from the 1950s! We’re so excited about it at this point and can’t wait to welcome a few fun projects and updates as well.
