Winter Work Wear Staples
K: Winter is my least favorite season to dress for. Anyone else with me on this? Once February hits, I’m daydreaming of seventy five degrees and sunshine, patiently waiting until spring hits. I’ve been trying really hard to stay away from darker colors this season and I have to say that the pastels have helped my mood immensely. You may remember this sweater from this blog post last year. It was one of those bargain finds that you end up wearing in so many different and unexpected ways. I’ve definitely gotten my use out of it! We wanted to put together a fun fashion post on winter work wear staples for both him + her. Let us know if any of these items are currently on rotation in your own closet!

Winter Work Wear Staples For Her
K: I’ve pretty much been living in cozy sweaters and pants this winter. Easy colors that blend and work well with variety are creams, tans, pinks, and even baby blues. Again, wearing pastels this season has really helped heighten my mood and put a little pep in my step, especially when waking up to dreary, dark skies almost every morning.
As for pants, I’ve been all about the unique lately. I can’t wear jeans to work and in the warmer weather, I almost always opt for a dress. But I feel like I’ve upped my game in the pants department this year and have found quite a few pairs that I’m rotating between. I love anything that can be tucked into boots for the cold weather!

Winter Work Wear Staples For Him
B: Ask anyone and they’ll tell you my preferred “work uniform” are chinos, a unique button down, and a pullover sweater if it’s cold enough. I don’t shy away from color, even in the winter time. Most of my sweaters are neutral colors so I like to have a little color in my button down shirt as a secondary layer. Guys can’t go wrong with any of the sweaters below and you could easily mix and match with all the shirts in your own closet. My favorite brand of chinos are Banana Republic and I’ve recently been wearing their traveler jean on rotation as well. It’s a dressed up jean that comes in multiple colors, perfect for work and the weekend.
