Trapp Candles & Fragrances
*Thank you to Trapp Fragrances for sponsoring today’s post*
K: Brandon and I have lots of similarities with how we were raised. We watched many of the same movies and shows, both of our moms cooked regularly, and quality family time was always a priority. Among those similarities, we also discovered that both of our moms primarily used Trapp candles when we were growing up. I have fond memories of the classic orange vanilla scent filling our home, making it feel warm and inviting. We’re big scent lovers and have continued to use Trapp in our own home now. With Christmas around the corner, I knew that I wanted to share some of the Trapp holiday scents, as well as their classic fragrances that we enjoy year round. If you’re anything like us, you’ve got a last minute gift or two to pick up for co-workers, a friend, or even a Christmas party hostess gift. I think a candle is a universal present that works for anyone, and we cannot speak highly enough about Trapp. Their scents fill up the home and they offer such a variety, you’re sure to find something that everyone will love.

Favorite Fragrances: Holiday and Year Round
K: We were lucky enough to try both the holiday fragrances and many of their year-round scents that work well after Christmas too. Don’t you just love the packaging of the little house that their classic candles come in?? I think these are so much fun to keep in mind for a housewarming gift or if you’re attending a party at a friend’s home. As we mentioned, the orange vanilla is one of their best sellers, but I also really loved the sexy cinnamon too!
B: The teak and oud wood scent was very masculine, but even as a guy, I still love the orange vanilla too. It smells like something you’ll actually want to eat and we like to burn that one in our kitchen. As far as the seasonal scents go, I love “Holiday” and “Golden Cypress”. Katherine’s favorite was “Lemon Sugar Cookie” and again, it smells like a delicious treat!

Where To Buy
B: We’re at the point now where ordering online isn’t an option, unless you choose rush shipping. We love that Trapp is available in a plethora of stores across the country. Just check their store locator here to see which one is closest to you. If you’re in San Antonio, we’ve done the work for you and found that The Home Accessory Store (which Katherine loves) carries Trapp.
K: There’s something fun about running out for a last minute gift. I like to make an event of it, grabbing hot chocolate on the way, bundling up, blaring Christmas music, and embracing moments before the big day. We really cannot recommend these amazing fragrances enough for a quick and easy gift!

K: Trapp has more than just candles; in fact, we weren’t aware of just how much they offered until we worked with them for this post. They sent over reed diffusers which I absolutely LOVE. It’s perfect for your bedside table, or even an entryway to give a great smell as guests enter through the front door. They also sent over lots of their wax melts in various fragrances. We went out to Target and bought this wax melter (under $20) and were surprised to find that the melts smell just as powerful as an actual candle does. The simplicity of breaking off wax and letting it warm all afternoon is amazing and I’m excited to try building a customized scent with two of the wax melts combined together.
The last product that we enjoyed are their home fragrance mists. They also come in a wide variety of scents and we actually sprayed our Christmas tree with one to give it a more authentic, pine-y smell. We placed a few of these in our guest bathrooms but you could use them anywhere!
