A Winter Walk With Peach
K: We’re getting to that time of year when staying active is more important than ever. With tons of upcoming holiday activities and parties, Brandon and I are making more of an effort to get moving in whatever way possible. For simple walks, I don’t always put on a full “athletic” outfit; instead, I opt for leggings, flow tops, comfy shoes, and a jacket for the winter. Peach has consistently made some of my favorite activewear and I am in love with a few of their winter pieces like these leggings and this fuzzy jacket.
In my opinion, a girl can never have too many pairs of leggings. I throw them on all the time, whether I’m lounging at home, out for a walk, or just wearing them as a normal weekend outfit. I love that this pair has a faux leather embellishment and they also come up high waisted to suck everything in. Perfect for post-Thanksgiving!
Life Lately
This time of year is really weird as a teacher. You return from Thanksgiving break and it’s just a short amount of time until you’re gone again for Christmas break. Everything in between seems to be a whirlwind and it’s hard to keep up as the days keep zooming by.
We’ve spent the majority of our time since the trip catching up on things like Christmas shopping, errands, laundry, and just resting. I don’t know about you, but after a long trip, we always take a week to simply relax and enjoy our home. It always feels so good to return, even as much as we love to travel.
We’re also fully decorated for the season over here! This weekend marks our first holiday party and we’ve got a blog post next week showcasing our home decor and brand new Christmas tree. Aside from that, things are pleasantly slow around here, and I mean that in the best way. For some reason, this season doesn’t seem as hectic as last year and we’re totally embracing that. All of our shopping is finished, most of the presents are wrapped, and we’re just enjoying things. I think it goes back to this blog post from October and the fact that we’re trying to continue that mindset even now. Whatever the case, Brandon and I are so happy with where we’re at right now and that feels good.
