Organic Bath Bomb Class In San Antonio
Happy Friday! Last week, we had such an amazing date night opportunity with Organically Bath & Beauty, a local store and studio that specializes in organic bath bombs. In addition to mommy and me classes, they are now offering date night classes for couples to come and create their own bath bombs, sip wine, and enjoy good conversation. Kela, the owner, had everything ready for us upon arrival and we documented the whole process to share with you. It was actually quite scientific, yet oddly therapeutic to mix everything and create. We had so much fun during the process and I think even Brandon was surprised at how it isn’t an activity solely meant for girls. We had a blast!
The whole procedure to actually make bath bombs took about an hour for us. Instead of writing it all out, we thought it’d be easier to share in a quick little informational video. Keep in mind, our videos are best viewed on the Instagram platform since we’re focusing on vertical content creation right now! If you don’t like the view below, just click here and you’ll see it on our IGTV too.
Overall, the process was pretty straightforward. It was so much fun to choose our own scents for the bomb (Brandon picked tangerine and I picked rose), add the natural ingredients on top for flourish (Kela offered lavender, sugar, sprinkles, rose petals). She also informed us about the organic ingredients that go into each bomb. Things like coconut oil, cornstarch, sea salt, and we loved hearing that Organically is a cruelty-free, vegan store that uses natural products you and I would be familiar with.
Even if you aren’t interested in the bath bomb classes, a trip to the store is an absolute must! We’ve updated our San Antonio City Guide to add Organically Bath & Beauty and they sell all sorts of natural goodies like homemade soap, shea body butter, pre-made bath bombs, natural deodorant, and so much more. It’s a beautiful store, located right next to Brew’s Lee Tea, another local favorite of ours.
The Finished Product
How gorgeous is the finished product? We loved getting to choose the color, scent, and add ons like lavender, rose petals, sprinkles, and more. It made each bomb unique and it was fun to get creative during the process. I’ve added all the bombs to my glass jar in the bathroom so that I can easily pop one into the tub during my next bubble bath. Ladies, I’m going to assume your man won’t be using his share of the bombs so that just means more for you! I think it’s safe to say, I’m set on bath bombs for a while! I may even package a few up creatively for a birthday gift or surprise for a friend.
Let us know if you have any questions! The next class for couples is September 22 and it’s $40 to attend. We left with 17 bath bombs and had a fantastic evening, so I’d say it’s well worth the price!
