Gather For Fall
K: A few weeks ago, Peach reached out to us and asked if we’d be interested in starting a conversation about the importance of gathering and what it means to gather together. With the holidays just around the corner, and fall officially starting, what better time to reflect on the concept of togetherness?
As a couple blog, we regularly focus on date nights and the importance of carving out time between you and your significant other. For both Brandon and I, the concept of gathering conjures up images of good conversation, a wonderful meal, and quality time with loved ones. For me personally, I take pride in creating a space where gathering can happen naturally and that’s why we decided to showcase our home for these photos. Fall brings forth warmth and coziness in a home and the small details of a lit candle, a comfy throw blanket, and an inviting front porch seemingly go hand in hand with a gathering of any sort.
Fall also brings forth a season of busyness for everyone: preparation for the holidays, sports starting up, school is in full swing…it’s easy to get carried away and lose track of the time. That’s why we’re challenging you with one simple idea today: set aside time to gather on a weekly basis. For you, that may be gathering with girlfriends over a glass of wine, or you may decide to focus on time with your spouse. Whatever the case, face to face human interaction with great conversation is something that we should all make time for. Don’t let the busyness serve as an excuse. Create time this week for meaningful interactions.
My Fall Cape
Of course, I had to showcase something from the brand itself! I’ve been fortunate to work with Peach before and have told you guys how much I love their functional, everyday clothes. Whether it’s cute and casual dresses or fun workout clothes, I’ve had Peach on repeat since July. This cape is no exception and I love how it has secure snaps on the side so that you don’t have to worry about undergarments showing from a side angle. Those can also be unsnapped easily if you want to layer with a long sleeve shirt or turtleneck underneath in the winter months.
On Katherine: Peach cape c/o, AG jeans, Steve Madden slides (similar), Monogram necklace, hoop earrings
On Brandon: Plaid shirt, Banana Republic pants,
