Comfy Clothes To Run Around In

If you’re like us, then you spend a good deal of time running around town, grabbing a bite to eat, walking the park, or just checking errands off your to-do list. We’re usually pretty casual on the weekends and I’m always in search of t-shirt dresses or comfy clothes to run around in.

In my quest for a great casual outfit, I found Peach, a clothing line that has perfected women’s athleisure. You guys know that when given the choice, I’ll always reach for a dress and that’s why I fell in love with this black one and this peach one from the line. Both have that soft, t-shirt material and work well for casual weekends at home. I’m even planning on wearing this one on our next plane ride in a few weeks. You’ll definitely be seeing a lot more of this line because I’m absolutely loving what they offer, including their workout gear!

K: Another thing I’m loving in the fashion world? Tying a jacket as a waist-defining element. I can’t say that I wore this jacket at all when we took the photos (hello 102 degrees), but I like the look of defining your waist, especially with a simple t-shirt dress. Plus, it’s always an added bonus to have a jacket in case it’s freezing indoors. With the Texas heat, most places blast the AC, causing you to freeze if you’re inside for more than ten minutes.

A Guy’s Perspective

B: Katherine and I love to take Tara on outings whenever we can. Our favorite park in town is right next to the Witte museum where the majority of these pictures were taken. From there, it’s just a short walk to a shaded Brackenridge Park. Even though this time of year is the hottest, we still try to get outside on the weekends and walk.

As a guy, my ideal choice of clothing to stay cool is a polo shirt, shorts, and Sperry shoes. If you’re a long time follower, then you know this is a sort of uniform for me. Over the years, I’ve acquired quite the collection of polo shirts in a variety of colors. My favorite line of polos are the Brooks Brothers/Red Fleece brand. You cannot go wrong with any one of their shirts as a gift for a guy!
