What To Wear For A Summer Date
Much of the heart behind this blog is to help and inspire couples to grow closer, invest in their relationship, and make time for one another. Weekly date nights are a necessity for us and something we encourage for everyone. Brandon and I discuss date night ideas often in our weekly newsletter (you can sign up right here if you aren’t already) and we even have a free guide of date night wardrobe options. Today, I wanted to give just a quick shoppable guide for the three types of dates that we often find ourselves on: the dinner date, the outdoor date, and the at-home date.
The Dinner Date
Casual or formal, I’m most comfortable in a dress and I love this selection below because many of these can be dressed up or down and worn in multiple ways. I threw in a few other options as well like a romper and a great bodysuit for a little variety and extra fun.
The Outdoor Date
We spend so much time outside and especially when we were dating, many of our dates revolved around some outdoor activity: hiking, going to the river, taking a walk in the park…these options will keep you looking cute but also functional on your active date.
The At Home Date
Sometimes staying in after a busy week is exactly what we need. We love finding a great recipe for dinner, opening a bottle of wine, and watching a movie or a show on Netflix. Instead of throwing on your old, giant t-shirt, opt for something that’s cozy yet still cute for your next night in.
