What To Wear For the 4th of July
We timed our Martha’s Vineyard trip perfectly so that we could shoot all of our patriotic, 4th of July outfits while we were there. Who can blame us? The entire community of Edgartown is so classically American with its white picket fences around each house, American flags flying, and perfectly manicured lawns. Needless to say, it was the perfect opportunity to break out all of our red, white, and blue, as well as our stars and stripes. The 4th is just a few weeks away and we’ve rounded up our favorite pieces that would coordinate well with the holiday. Be sure to scroll all the way down to shop!
B: I’ve showcased Ball & Buck before here on the blog (their pocket tees are among some of my favorite casual shirts). It’s one of my favorite hunting brands but even if you aren’t a hunter, their shirts are unique and I classify them as “sporting” shirts. Wear them to go skeet shooting, fishing, or even to work on a casual day. This America shirt is one of their boldest designs and although it’s not a shirt you can wear on repeat, I love the design and fit. If you’re looking for something a little more classic, this shirt and this one are two of my favorites. In my opinion, they make great gifts for the man in your life.
K: I’m a little embarrassed that I actually tied this wrap shirt incorrectly. It’s supposed to go all the way around with a bow in the front; however, I let it drape down in the back. I guess it works either way but if you’d like to see how it wraps and ties, I’m giving a quick little demonstration today on IG Stories.
I originally purchased these wide leg pants for work but I’m really surprised at how often I’m reaching for them with school being out. They work perfectly for evenings when you want your legs covered, date night, church, and I love how flattering and high waisted they are. I got them 50% off at Ann Taylor, making them only $50. Finally, this little clutch is only $12.99 at Target! Perfect for the 4th if you’re going to a party or event and just want to carry something small.
