San Antonio Date Idea: The Japanese Tea Garden
We’re always looking for fun things to do around San Antonio together at budget friendly prices. The San Antonio Botanical Garden is a great spot, but the admission fee is $12 a person. It’s definitely something that is worthwhile, especially if you’re visiting; however, as locals, we like finding other hidden gems that are free and The Japanese Tea Garden is a gorgeous hidden gem. Located right next to the zoo, this is a must-stop spot for any tourist or local alike.
B: Katherine and I love to be outside as much as possible. On this particular morning, we were up by 7:00 and at the garden by 8:30. We happily beat the crowds, giving us a private look at everything without the Texas heat. This unique spot transports you to another country and the koi ponds, lush landscape, and stone bridges were so much fun to explore. We highly recommend this little spot as a date location! Follow suit after us and head to Bird Bakery for lunch or a sweet treat. The two are very close in location and both atmospheres are charming and unique.
K: This botanical and Japanese-esque dress was an amazing find at Anthropologie. Firstly, I could not resist the classic blue and white colors, coupled with the unique floral design. Second, I think the cut is so flattering for any body type! The square neckline is beautiful and anything that hits at the waist accentuates and flatters your shape. I’m not very busty at all but I felt like this dress gave a little pizzaz in that particular area. So, for all you ladies who are smaller in that department, this dress creates some shape up there. The fabric is well made and the dress itself is lined. Perfect for any summer party, wedding, or event!
