Living in San Antonio has had me on board with embroidery long before it became trendy. Hand sewn floral blouses and dresses are a closet necessity here in this city since so much culture comes from Mexico. I fully embrace this and love having a few new embroidered items added to my wardrobe each year. This dress from Bennet Grey Boutique is perfection and I’m already picturing it as a stylish cover up as Brandon and I sit poolside this summer. Dress it up with wedges or keep it casual with flats; either way, this dress works well for a multitude of occasions.
The Embroidered Dress Trend
Embroidered dresses feel unique, simply because of the plethora of patterns that are offered. Small flower detailing does not go unnoticed and I love how the dark green color of this dress makes all of the little flowers pop even more. If you’re wanting to jump on this trend, I’ve rounded up my absolute favorite embroidered dresses, all under $100. These are a spring closet staple so jump on the trend and make it your own!
I’m so excited about this particular dress that I’m wearing because it comes from a new San Antonio boutique I was introduced to! Bennet Grey Boutique is home to some adorable and trendy pieces at a very affordable price. Even if you aren’t local, the boutique has an awesome website (that I actually ordered from) and I’m happy to say they offer free shipping! Now, all the way through March 7, you can receive 20% off with the code SWAINKY20. Definitely take a peek at the cute pieces that they offer!
In other news, Brandon and I will be doing a Facebook Live on Thursday, February 22! We’ve taken so many little weekend trips, we thought we’d make that the subject. We’ll be discussing travel tips for short stays, planning ideas, and things that help us with our own travels. Be sure and tune in at 7:30 on our One Swainky Couple Facebook page!
