K: This is such a classic San Antonio Christmas look: minimal layers, a little bit of a rustic charm, and casual functionality. Traditionally speaking, we don’t get a lot of cold weather and I can remember plenty of Christmases where it was in the 70s. Because of that, I’m usually prepared for either situation: a chilly Christmas or a warm one. Obviously, this is my warm weather outfit choice and I love how it still manages to look cozy and spirited, without making me feel bundled up. This top is great though because you could easily throw it on with jeans and a fun coat as the weather gets really cold. Plus, you can never go wrong with a classic plaid print.
B: I’ve been wearing these Tods nonstop, simply because they have the ability to make any outfit feel a little more spirited with their classic red color. The versatility has surprised me and Katherine urged me to make the purchase, knowing that red is a color that can go with a lot. I’ve discussed Tods before on the blog, but this is a brand that truly creates a lasting product and one that will go with everything. Their famous driving shoe has been a long time favorite of mine and you’ll notice that I wear my brown ones all the time. This pair is my new favorite and has been a great purchase so far.
K: We’ll be heading up to the Dallas area for Christmas this year! It will be Brandon’s first time to see my grandparents’ house which holds so many holiday memories from my childhood. I’m so excited to create a few more traditions and introduce him to some of the memories from when I was little (like the vintage board games my Nana kept, walks around their park, and maybe even a little bit of snow if we’re lucky!). What are your plans for the holidays? What are you looking forward to?
