K: We’re back from Colorado, giddy about all of the fall pictures we captured. It was such a treat to have a taste of autumn with the changing leaves and cooler temperatures. We stayed at The Oxford Hotel during our weekend trip, and we’ll be sure to share more about the historic hotel soon! For now, we wanted to start out by showing a few pictures from downtown Denver, specifically, Union Station.
B: I was in Denver this past week for a geology related work trip. Katherine met me up there Friday and we spent the weekend exploring. It was so nice to escape the 80 degree weather back in San Antonio, even if it was just for a few days. The Union Station area of downtown was urban, filled with wonderful restaurants, and had plenty of interesting architecture to keep us snapping pictures.
K: I’ve actually had this little dress since last season and I consistently wear it through the cooler months. The wool fabric keeps me plenty warm and it can even be worn with tights as well. Additionally, I’m still such a fan of the neck scarf trend and I love that they can serve as a lighter scarf option in the winter if you don’t want something bulky. You can see our post here about the different ways to wear a neck scarf.
B: For Colorado, and many other cold weather locations, layers are key. A guy can’t go wrong with a button down shirt and a classic pullover sweater. I definitely had to shed my sweater during the peak of the day, but when nightfall hit, I was extremely happy to have it.
Be sure to tune in this week for more pictures and stories! We’ve got some great things coming your way!
