K: We spent Easter weekend at the beach and had gorgeous weather the entire trip, as opposed to our last trip here. Brandon and I were adamant about getting reservations at a delicious bistro called Lisabella’s in the community of Cinnamon Shore. This quaint little village has muted blue beach homes, all trimmed in white. The fresh feel coupled with the salty breeze in the air made this a perfect evening dinner and we were able to watch the sunset as we explored the neighborhood afterwards. It was a nice reminder that sometimes, the best dates are just the classic dinner date at a favorite restaurant.
B: Cinnamon Shore is a relatively new development of beachside condominiums and homes in Port Aransas, Texas. My family rented one of these condominiums in the fall a few years back. At the time, I fell in awe of the nautical beach house hues of orange, yellow, pink and blue. The tall palm trees, manicured swatches of green grass, and lighted paver pathways will make any greenskeeper jealous. Most striking to me however, was the series of stunning freshwater ponds filling the courtyards between all of the streets and houses. I was hoping for the opportunity to share such a beautiful memory with Katherine in this photo shoot.
B: Just a few minutes into the pictures, I took note of Katherine’s nonchalant leg lift. Classically, in movies and photos, the leg lift symbolizes complete bliss and is often seen in romance. My mind raced through the moments Katherine and I have spent together, and in doing so, my left leg lifted itself to match hers. We soon broke into laughter and this photo shoot deviated from serious to lighthearted in an instant. Katherine and I have an amazing time together every single day. The silly moments shared with one another in life truly do matter in a relationship.
K: This dress epitomizes everything about Cinnamon Shore to me. It’s tailored, nautical, and contains unexpected coral embroidery that seems to embody the Spring and Summer seasons. I love that it’s appropriate for work, church, or a casual evening event. Its functionality and charm drew me in, as well as the classic vibe that the blue and white stripes have.
